Terms of Service
The terms and conditions for using our products and services.
Last updated: March 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bandcizer platform, including the Bandcizer sensor hardware, the Bandcizer mobile application ("App"), the PT Dashboard, and the website at bandcizer.io (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
3. The Service
Bandcizer provides objective resistance band exercise measurement for clinical rehabilitation. The Service includes:
- Sensor hardware (provided under rental agreement)
- Mobile app for patients (exercise guidance and data capture)
- PT Dashboard for clinics (patient management, exercise data review, clinical messaging)
- Data sync between sensor, app, and dashboard
Not Medical Advice
Bandcizer is a measurement and data capture tool. It does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or clinical advice. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating healthcare professional.
4. Subscription and Payment
Pricing
The Service is available at DKK 299 per sensor per month. This includes sensor hardware, flat resistance bands, door anchor, full PT Dashboard access for your entire team, clinical messaging, unlimited patient accounts, and hardware maintenance.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice. We reserve the right to suspend access to the Service for overdue accounts after 30 days.
Pilot Programmes
Pilot programmes may be offered with modified terms. Any pilot-specific terms will be communicated in writing and take precedence over these general Terms for the duration of the pilot.
5. Sensor Hardware
Rental
Sensors are provided under a rental agreement. The Clinic does not own the sensor hardware. Sensors must be returned when the subscription ends or when requested by Bandcizer.
Care and Use
The Clinic is responsible for the reasonable care of sensor hardware. The sensor works with any flat resistance band and is calibrated for Theraband Latex Free bands. Use with incompatible band types (tube, loop, fabric, or metallic-content bands) may damage the sensor and is not covered by the maintenance agreement.
Maintenance and Replacement
Hardware maintenance and replacement for normal wear and tear is included in the subscription. Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or use with incompatible equipment is not covered.
6. Accounts and Access
Clinic Accounts
The Clinic is responsible for managing user access to the PT Dashboard. Dashboard access is not limited by the number of practitioners — the subscription covers the entire clinical team.
Patient Accounts
Patient accounts are created by the Clinic. Patients access the app via a QR code and one-time password generated by the Clinic. The Clinic is responsible for ensuring appropriate consent is obtained before enrolling a patient.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at info@bandcizer.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
7. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. For clinics processing patient data through the Service, we act as a data processor on behalf of the Clinic (the data controller). A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
Data Ownership
Clinical data (patient exercise records, session data, adherence scores) belongs to the Clinic. Bandcizer provides the platform for data capture, storage, and presentation. Upon subscription termination, Clinics may request data export.
Anonymised Data
We may use fully anonymised and aggregated data for product improvement and research purposes. This data cannot be linked back to any individual patient or clinic.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any purpose other than clinical rehabilitation and exercise monitoring
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the sensor hardware or software
- Share login credentials with unauthorised individuals
- Use the Service to store or transmit data unrelated to exercise rehabilitation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
9. Intellectual Property
The Bandcizer sensor technology, software, dashboard, app, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Bandcizer ApS. The subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of the subscription.
10. Limitation of Liability
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary service disruptions due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Clinical Decisions
Bandcizer provides objective exercise data. Clinical interpretation and treatment decisions are the sole responsibility of the treating healthcare professional. We are not liable for clinical outcomes resulting from how the data is interpreted or applied.
Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by Danish law, Bandcizer's total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the Clinic in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
By the Clinic
You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days' written notice. Sensors must be returned within 14 days of the subscription end date.
By Bandcizer
We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms, including non-payment beyond 30 days. We will provide written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, access to the PT Dashboard and patient app ceases. Clinical data is retained for 30 days to allow data export, after which it is permanently deleted unless otherwise agreed.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the Clinic's registered account at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of Denmark, with the City Court of Roskilde as the court of first instance.
